Common To Play Green Lantern?

Apparently a movie version of "Justice League of America" is in the works and Common has signed on to play Green Lantern. Should be interesting...Common doesn't come across as an action hero but we'll see how it goes. Plus, wasn't the Green Lantern a Caucasoid? Oh well...
