Round-Up: Tupac's Mom's House Burns, Foxy Brown Misbehaves, Jay-Z & Nas Contribute To Book

News 14 reports that Afeni Shakur's house in Lumberton, North Carolina burned to the ground this past Friday. Luckily, there were no injuries as no one was there when the fire broke out...thank God for that. Will keep you posted.

Okay so you probably already heard that Foxy Brown was actually never missing. She was seen at the Urban Music Awards this past Saturday, where she apparently arrived late and was in a "foul mood". In other Ill Na Na news, Page Six reports that she was acting a damn fool on an American Airlines flight from JFK to Heathrow. Only God knows what's going on with her these days.

The former rivals have both contributed to scholar Michael Eric Dyson's upcoming book, "Know What I Mean: Reflections on Hip-Hop." In the book, Jay-Z writes:
"It's one thing for young people to see rappers making appearances on TRL or to see their records fly up the charts. But it is another thing for a young boy from the hood to go into the library at his school and check out a book on why his culture matters."
Whatever, son.
