Little Drops Of Water...

NY Daily News is reporting that Jay-Z is heading over to join Beyonce at Columbia Records. They say it could because JD's recent appointment as president of the Island Urban division. It could also be because Rick Rubin (who's now running things at Columbia) may be trying to create an all-star team. Who knows.

PS: What happened to the "super" label with Apple?

Lindsay Lohan claims she did not do drugs. Sigh...here's what she said:
"Yes. I am innocent... did not do drugs they're not mine. I was almost hit by my assistant Tarin's mom. I appreciate everyone giving me my privacy."

Source: TMZ.com
Hmm...no comment.

However, it's being reported that Lindsay may have been chased too. Other sources claim that she got into a fight with Samantha Ronson, her lesbian friend, before the DUI incident. Apparently Samantha threatened to expose her drug/alcohol use and her being a lesbian. This shit would make a great TV show.

Mel B talks to Essence.com about how her getting pregnant with Eddie's child was no mistake. She also hints about his, ahem, lifestyle.

Quincy Jones keeps it funky. Here's what he had to say about producing Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston's new albums:
"I don't have time. I'm 74. I'm a producer, not a psychic. I don't know if they can do it anymore."
Ouch.

The Game and 50 Cent have apparently buried the hatchet. Word is that The Game will be featured on Curtis. Let's see if this turns out to be true.

A lot of artists have their own clothing lines. Rihanna has a line of umberellahs (ellah, ellay, ay, ay, ay).

Mos Def testified in court this past Monday on behalf of former Death Row inmate Aaron Patterson, who received a rare gubernatorial pardon in 2003 but is now awaiting sentencing on gun and drug charges.

The Camden Police Department is trying to exclude Swizz Beatz from a peace rally due to his anti-snitching lyrics. Good call.

Remember the story about Tony Yayo hitting a 14-year-old kid? Well, he's been offered a 9-month jail sentence for that, which he rejected.
