KRS-One's Son Found Dead, Classified As Suicide

Randy Hubbard Parker, 23, son of the legendary KRS-One was found dead in his apartment this past Friday. He died of a gunshot wound to the head and has been classified as a suicide by the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office. He is said to have had a long battle with depression prior to this sad event. A memorial service will be held in New York (where Randy was born) on July 18, which would have been his 24th birthday.

My heart goes out to his friends and family.

UPDATE: XXLmag.com reports that Randy Parker is actually KRS-One's stepson.
