Lindsay Lohan = Cocaine Thief...Okay...

Read...

“JACKASS” star Steve-O told Howard Stern on his radio show yesterday that Lindsay Lohan once took a bag of cocaine from him. The freaky comic, who laughed uncontrollably while saying he likes to inhale nitrous oxide from whipped cream cans, said Lohan took what he called the “Boog Suge” from him after she forgot her wallet in his bathroom and came back to his place to get it. There’s even proof she was there - Lohan had to sign a release while at Steve-O’s house for a DVD he was filming at the time.

Ja Rule Is The New Isaiah Washington

At this rate, "anti-gay" comments are starting to matter more than "anti-black" comments. It's okay though...

*Ja Rule caused a stir among gay activists with his comments in the September issue of Complex magazine regarding homosexuals on television. The rapper responds to the backlash in a new interview with Spinner magazine to promote the Nov. 13 release of his new album, "The Mirror."

As previously reported, Complex asked the rapper to weigh in on the post-Imus criticism of derogatory hip hop lyrics. He responded by lashing out against the mainstream media, stating: "We need to go step to MTV and Viacom, and lets talk about all these f---ing shows that they have on MTV that is promoting homosexuality, that my kids can't watch this s---," he said. "Dating shows that's showing two guys or two girls in mid afternoon. Let's talk about s--- like that! If that's not f---ing up America, I don't know what is."

GLAAD (the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) responded with the following statement: "No fair-minded person can look at Ja Rule's interview with Complex magazine and believe for one second that his children could be more harmed by what they might see on television than by the vulgarity and prejudice that comes out of their father's mouth."

The following is an excerpt from Spinner magazine's interview with Ja Rule regarding the backlash:

S: Let's get to this straightaway: You caused quite a bit of controversy with your comments in Complex magazine, saying -- and I'm paraphrasing -- that homosexuality is what's wrong with America. Is it accurate to say that you suffer from some degree of homophobia?

J.R.: I'm a very avid speaker for all people's rights and people having their own preference. I was taken out of context. My statement was more about where our mind state is as a people. We're focused on the wrong things -- like, our country is at war right now. These things are more of a problem to me. Like another case I just read about -- young ladies being raped by six white men. These are the stories that should be popping up on my TV screen. That's what I was talking about, and somehow it got spun into some other s---.

S: How would you react if one of your kids told you that he or she was gay?

J.R. That's their own preference. I'm going to love them regardless. I have relatives that are homosexuals and, you know, they come over for Christmas, hang out. It's something that starts with us. That's why my album is named "The Mirror" -- because everybody has to look at themselves and take it upon themselves to educate. It's my responsibility to educate my children -- not the TV. I think a visual is more influential than audio, but that goes without being said. You know, that's the world we live in and people are tight in the collar about a lot of issues. It is what it is.

S: Where do you stand on gay marriage?

J.R. It's really not my business. I really could care less. It's not something that bothers me.

S: This seems to contradict some of the preconceived notions the public may have about you.

J.R.: People have a lot of misconceptions about me and it has a lot to do with me being a rap artist -- me being a young black man. You know, I get it a lot when I do films. Sometimes, I come fit and they just automatically think that I'm going to be late or I'm not going to be focused because that's what other rappers do on the set. I'm a hard worker, I come here to do my job and that's what it is. There's a lot of stereotypes that we get as rappers and young black men that are not fair.

S: Does that frustrate you?

J.R. Sometimes, but you gotta take the good with the bad. That's life. I understand it. I know it'll be a struggle for me -- being a young black man in America. And it's always been tough for me to get my point across as a rap artist.

One Of The "Jena 6" Out On Bail

Read...

A black teenager whose prosecution in the beating of a white classmate prompted a massive civil rights protest here walked out of a courthouse Thursday after a judge ordered him freed.

Mychal Bell's release on $45,000 bail came hours after a prosecutor confirmed he would no longer seek an adult trial for the 17-year-old. Bell, one of the teenagers known as the Jena Six, still faces trial as a juvenile in the December beating in this small central Louisiana town.

"We still have mountains to climb, but at least this is closer to an even playing field," said the Rev. Al Sharpton, who helped organize last week's protest.

"He goes home because a lot of people left their home and stood up for him," Sharpton said as Bell stood smiling next to him.

"There's only one person who could have brought me through this and that's the good Lord," Bell told reporters later in front of his father's house.

District Attorney Reed Walters' decision to abandon adult charges means that Bell, who had faced a maximum of 15 years in prison on his aggravated second-degree battery conviction last month, instead could be held only until he turns 21 if he is found guilty in juvenile court.

The conviction in adult court was thrown out this month by the state 3rd Circuit Court of Appeal, which said Bell should not have been tried as an adult on that particular charge.

Walters had said he would appeal that decision. On Thursday, he said he still believes there was legal merit to trying Bell as an adult but decided it was in the best interest of the victim, Justin Barker, and his family to let the juvenile court handle the case.

"They are on board with what I decided," Walters said at a news conference.

Bell faces juvenile court charges of aggravated second-degree battery and conspiracy to commit that crime.

*Karrine Steffans is blabbing all of her bedroom business again in "The Vixen Diaries," a tell-all book that continues to chronicle her trysts with famous rappers and athletes that began with her first memoir, "Confessions of a Video Vixen."

The new book purports to offer self-help advice in addition to providing details of her sexual encounters with such celebs as Mike Tyson and boxer Antonio Tarver. [See excerpts below.]

Steffans also denies that she was a catalyst for the divorce of Halle Berry and Eric Benet, and says she never once came between Chris Rock and his wife Malaak Compton Rock as rumored.

The author also says she never had sex with Whitney Houston's ex-husband Bobby Brown, but has always considered him a close friend – that is until he allegedly belittled their friendship.

According to excerpts from "Diaries" reported in the New York Daily News, Steffans writes: "I kept Bobby close to my heart." Meeting after a time apart, "he embraced me as I whispered, ‘I love you,' and he returned, 'I love you, too.'" But she says Brown later told "me I had done nothing for him, while he was sleeping in my home, eating my food, driving my car and spending my money." After a tryst with Ray J, she told Brown that the rapper claimed he'd added Whitney's name to his bedpost. "I could hardly wait to get the news out, to tear [Bobby's] heart apart and hurt him the way he hurt me, I wanted him to go to bed that night with the image of his wife with another man."

Here are more excerpts from "Vixen Diaries":

• Regarding Mike Tyson, she writes, "loves the same way he fights: hard and rough. His kisses are like uppercuts, and his lovemaking is like a title match. And as he proved against Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson is a biter. His passion manifested through pain as … I endured the extreme force of his 200-pound frame colliding into mine, he kissed, sucked and bit me overzealously. I was in excruciating pain as we continued in this manner for several hours. At the end, I was covered in bruises and bite marks and vowed to never have sex with him again."

• She also slept with boxer Antonio Tarver shortly before his marriage. As she watched Antonio kiss his new wife, Steffans muses, "I recalled his face and lips [exploring my body] … I wondered how I tasted to her."

• Jamie Foxx told her, "Damn, you're pretty!" when they met. "When Jamie Foxx offers to massage your body at four in the morning, after a bottle of Champagne and two shots of Patron, it's hard to say no," she writes. However, Jamie soon figured out she was "that Karrine." Foxx ran in the other direction, leaving the author "depressed. Jamie had no idea that he made me cry all the way home and in the days that followed."

• Comic Bill Maher delivered her greatest heartache. "In January of 2006, Bill and I split. Three days later, I suffered an emotional breakdown and was sent to the hospital for psychiatric observation. I cut my wrists and started drinking myself into an emotional tailspin. At the end of the night, the love of my life was gone and so was my son, Naiim," taken away by Child Services.

According to the Daily News, Karrine eventually got her son back. And not only does she remain friends with Maher, she dedicates the book to him as well.

Halle Berry Receives Death Threats

Read...

Actress Halle Berry has been forced to hire security guards after being bombarded with death threats.

The actress, who is three months pregnant with her first child, is reported to have received sickening letters from an anonymous person who has threatened to maim her and her baby.

The letters are believed to be part of a race hate campaign aimed at Halle, 41, whose father is African-American, because she is having a child with Canadian model Gabriel Aubry.

A source tells the Daily Record that one threat said the child would be 'cut into hundreds of pieces'.

The threats, which were sent directly to Berry's home in LA, are being investigated by police and the star has decided to pay for her own protection.

"Halle does not normally use security," the source says, "but she has taken on a couple of guys to make sure nothing happens."

Yung Joc's Awkward-Looking Ass Almost Got Robbed

Read...

His name is Yung Joc, he has the most talked-about piece of jewelry in rap, and no, he has not been robbed of it.

Joc phoned in to the MTV offices on Wednesday (September 26) to talk exclusively about a big rumor going on in hip-hop. The word on the Net and radio is that he got ganked for his eye-catching Hustlenomics "H" pendant and giant rope chain during a recent brawl in a London club after he and T-Pain fought off some rowdy fans.

"The craziest part of about this is I've never seen so much hype about a piece of jewelry except when [NBA star] Kobe [Bryant] bought that ring for his wife [after he admitted to cheating on her]," Joc said, laughing off the rumors.

The Atlanta native said he and Pain did indeed have to defend themselves in London — they were in town to perform at the MOBO Awards — but they came out unharmed and with all their belongings intact. The commotion happened shortly after midnight, when Joc was bringing in his birthday at U.K. club Crystal Club on Thursday.

"When you walk in the building with that sh-- on, with [a chain] that big, you know mutha----as gonna be like, 'Whoa,' " Joc said Wednesday evening. "When you walk out without it on and it was a crazy fight, it looks like you lost your chain."

Joc said he saw a major problem about to occur (can't you imagine him saying to himself, "It's going dowwwn"?) in the club and he simply took his chain off and handed it to his manager Rico Brooks, who kept it secure in a carrying case.

"It was my birthday, so we was poppin' bottles," he continued. "We was bottle-poppin' major. Pain was talking to this chick and this big football-player-looking dude came up. He was big as hell. ... The dude grabbed her arm and she was like, 'I'm not leaving,' and [moves] away from the dude. ... The next thing you know, the dude started talking sh-- to Pain. The dude poured his wine out and ... I looked back at my security [guard], gave him my chain. He put it in my case and handed it to Rico. The dude hit T-Pain's partner in the head with a glass in his hand."

Joc says the unknown assailant then fled the club but didn't make it too far before one of T-Pain's managers caught up to him and floored him with a few punches.

"So my security came out there and [caught up with] the guy," Joc told. "I jumped in and start tappin' on his head. By the time I got out the club, Pain's security was already [involved]. It was crazy. Ne-Yo was outside the club getting ready to come in, and once he saw the commotion, he [left]."

Joc returned to the States a few days ago, jewels in tow, and partied all weekend. On Tuesday, he was in the ATL with the "H" around his neck, showing support to fellow Block Entertainment artist Gorilla Zoe, who released his debut, Welcome to the Zoo, on Tuesday. Zoe is a co-star and performer in Joc's new video "Bottle Poppin'."

"The video is done," explained Joc, who is about to get ready to do a college-tour run, just in time for homecoming season. Hopefully his now-famous bling will still be intact.

Battle Of The Fragrances

Diddy's Unforgivable Woman vs. Mimi's M by Mariah Carey....do you give a shit?...Me neither.

But I'm gonna go through with the post anyways...

Diddy said:

"I send out a challenge...I challenge all of my female counterparts that have fragrances...that my fragrance is better than theirs. I'm a man and I know how women should smell!"

Mariah said:
"I heard about this competition, and I wish Puff all the best with his new fragrance, but I think we're actually appealing to different types of women. M by Mariah Carey is about being unforgettable, not unforgivable. It's not about a ménage à trois or a one night stand, it's for the woman who wants the man to fall in love with her immediately, stay in love, and treat her like royalty."

It seems Kanye and Curtis have started something.

As Told By Adrienne Curry

Please read what this numskull posted on her MySpace blog (verbatim):

MY Boycott against BET and Black History Month

Because of my last blog, and all the wonderful feedback I got..it made me think...

This is gonna be hard guys. I LOVE the comedians on BET. I also LOVE the fact that they play my favorite show of all time, In Living Color. However, I do not believe in seperating ANY RACE in America. WE ARE AMERICANS! How dare we have Black History Month! In my eyes, the Native Americans deserve it MUCH more, seeing how we destroyed their ENTIRE SOCIETY. There are hardly any of them left! They also have been proven to have the WORST living conditions on their reservations. I want AN AMERICAN HISTORY MONTH. One where we learn about EVERY race, ALL OF OUR LEADERS, EVERYONE! I think by having a month dedicated to one race, and not one for any other, is RACIST. Every fund set up to only help people of one race is SICK and RACIST.

Yes, I get it. Black people were slaves here once. You know what? That does suck some major balls, however, it is time to move the fuck on. Do we hear the Jews crying that they were made slaves for thousands of years? Do we hear them whine that they should OWN the pyramids in Egypt because THEY broke their backs making them? Do we hear them bitch and moan about Hitler, etc? (my hubby is a Jew)Nope, we dont. It's time for us to UNITE AS ONE. I do not think that singling out one race, giving one race opportunities to go to college (I know a TON of poor white.asian, indian, american indian, etc etc that could use that too!), giving one race the EXCUSE to blame things on others for being whatever nationality they are, is a good way at making sure we NEVER kill racism.

I am over this shit. WE ALL CAME FROM ONE BLACK WOMAN FROM AFRICA, THAT is our EVE! It has been proven by science, and I stand by it. If any other race had a chanel dedicated to just them, we would think it was racist. If any other race demanded a month be set aside for ONLY them, they would be considered racist. I am NOT living by this double standard any longer.

Think I am racist? I am not. I know what racism is. I dated a guy named "Justin" in Junior high. Nothing serious, but I really liked him. He was the blackest of black...BEAUTIFUL skin, kinda like Alex Wek's. He was handsome, and athletic, etc. I was called a nigger lover. But you know what? I was called that by a whole 2 people out of a school with HUNDREDS of students. THAT is why I am NOT buying this racist shit anymore. Let us teach or children that there is NO DIFFERENCE! We are all human. I hope one day aliens land and try to kill us. Maybe THEN we would finally realize that WE are ONE.

So, I will no longer tune into BET. This is going to suck, but I do NOT like the idea of having a chanel for only 1 race. In the year 2007 in a country that is supposed to be the most advanced and equal. This is unexceptable! I will also no longer acknowledge Black History Month. Instead, I will see it the way that Morgan Freeman does (I have the quote at the bottom of my last blog on Obama/jesseJackson, and OJ). AMERICAN HISTORY MONTH! I will read/watch/and learn about ALL the people who made a difference in this country.

I am asking you ALL to join me. Black, White, Indian, Asian, Russian, Australian, etc etc.....lets be AMERICANS together! What happened to the African American community was AMERICAN HISTORY, not BLACK HISTORY. If you want to celebrate in a way that excludes others and singles one race out, count me the FUCK out! I am soooo proud to be an American. I am SO proud that I have friends of every race, and none of us see each other as anything but what we are..people. Lets change Black History Month to 2 months of AMERICAN HISTORY. We will still learn about all the black leaders and people who made a difference....just not with the racist name of "Black History Month". It has to start somewhere. I am going to do my part in making sure we are all treated EQUAL in a country that CLAIMS we are. NO MORE SPECIAL TREATMENT FOR ANYONE WITH ANYTHING!

It will never happen. At least, that is what many of you will say...FINE! My number one priority here is being able to die and know that I stood up for what I believed in, and that I did not add to the SEPERATION OF AMERICANS!! I love my country, I love the people in it. I love our history, good and bad. We should LEARN from it,not dwell in it and not move forward. That's why I am done with this shit. You are all my brothers and sisters.....even if I think you suck ; ) As Bono said, "One life, with each other..sisters...brothers!"

now, have fun burning me at the stake ; )

Click Here To Subscibe To My Blog!..

Edited Note:: Opinions are like assholes, everyone...we all have em! Please, respect each other here...listen...even if you dont agree. No name calling. I have a confession...The topic here (black history month/BET) is not what my message was about..>I just knew it would get a lot more attention if I used it as an example. My message is to BECOME ONE. AMERICANS, celebrate things as such, not label them this or that...Black History month should NOT go away...but it should have it's name changed to AMERICAN HISTORY..and be made into a few months...to teach us EVERYTHING about our history...not just focus on one race. Yep, I have a hippie view of the world, and I dont care!! I am not saying to stop celebrating and remebering our history, good or bad. I AGREE that we need to teach MORE on american history concerning what we teach during "black History month". I am not writing this to take away anything from anyone...we need MORE OF IT, but WITHOUT the race title!!!!

Oh yeah, VOTE OBAMA!!!!! (You see, guys?? She's NOT racist -- RichBoi88)

Dennis Rodman has been accused of sexual battery. Read...

Dennis Rodman is in trouble with the law again, this time for allegedly smacking the ass of a female bar hopper.

TMZ has learned the Orange County Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident, which allegedly took place at Hennessy's Tavern in Dana Point, near Laguna Beach. One source says the ex-basketball star allegedly slapped the woman's rear so hard, it left a "major mark."

Call Her Ms. Carey

Read...

Mariah Carey. Wow.

At the VH1 Save the Music Foundation Gala Thursday, "Mimi" looked amazing, smelled of cocktails, and had an escort detail larger than an Iranian president addressing the United Nations.

Her nine assistants performed a ballet of maintenance on the teetering diva all night, keeping her flawless. One handmaiden was solely responsible for dispensing breast tape. Another wore a belt with brushes and hair spray to the dinner; a third brought portable hot rollers.

I've Been Saying It Since The Beginning Of Time

Please read...

Celebrities are clearly able to convince people to drink a certain soda or eat a certain food, but when it comes to politics, their word carries little weight.

According to a telephone survey of more than 1,000 people, conducted by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press, several celebrity endorsements would actually cause people NOT to vote for a candidate. For example, when asked whether an endorsement from Kanye West would make them more or less likely to vote for a candidate, 4% said it would make them more likely , but 15% said they'd be less likely. What are those 4% thinking?

Other celebs who had a negative impact included Donald Trump, Jay Leno, Toby Keith and -- shocker -- Bill O'Reilly. The endorsement Barack Obama got from Oprah Winfrey was a wash -- 15% said an endorsement from Oprah would help -- and 15% said it would hurt. Looks like Oprah should stick to recommending books!

Letter From The Editor/CEO/Janitor

Dear Readers,

It has been a rough week and, believe it or not, I thought about shutting this blog down. I love and enjoy posting everyday but it will simply be impossible for me to post at the same rate/level you're used to without other aspects of my life being neglected.

After a lot of thought and meditation (OK fine I didn't meditate), and consulting a few people (shout out to Kyva), I have reconsidered and decided to keep the blog open. However, I cannot do it alone.

I would like to propose to you, the readers - most especially the regulars (sian, MM, Kitty, et al) - the idea of being a part of this blog. By that, I mean actually posting videos/stories/whatever peaks your interest.

If you are interested, leave a comment saying so (make sure you fill out the e-mail address field).

That's it for now...I look forward to hearing from you all.

Peace,
RichBoi88

New Jay-Z Coming Your Way

Well, not right now...but tomorrow. As I reported earlier today, Jay-Z is putting out a new record in the near future. It will not be called Boss Hova (thank Jesus) as previously reported...it's gonna be called American Gangster. Still kinda corny, but a lot better than that other crap...it's said to be coming out on November 6 but may be shifted to coincide with the release of the "American Gangster" movie, which comes out on Black Friday.

The first single is gonna be called "Blue Magic", and is said to be hitting the radio/internet tomorrow. Apparenlty the video for it has already been shot. Nice.

It looks like we're gonna have lots of good music this year afterall...Kanye, Alicia, Jay-Z, Mariah...quite alright.

I'll keep you posted. Peace.

Kanye West's "Graduation" (Def Jam) easily leads the star-studded class of Sept. 11 releases, posting The Billboard 200's largest sales total in more than two years. Nielsen SoundScan will show West's album moved 957,000 during its first six days when the tracking service refreshes its charts tomorrow morning (Sept. 19).

Also pumping album volume are 50 Cent's "Curtis" (G-Unit/Interscope), which will lock down the No. 2 slot with 691,000 sold. Kenny Chesney's "Just Who I Am: Poets & Pirates" (BNA/Sony BMG Nashville) will bow at No. 3 with 387,000 copies.

Kanye West = Egomaniac...Girly Egomaniac

Read...

Hip-hop star Kanye West has reportedly been blackballed by MTV. West was outraged at the network when he failed to scoop any awards at the recent MTV Video Music Awards. And the enraged rapper angrily says he will never appear for MTV again, but it appears that the network couldn’t care less.

“They have decided he is just too difficult to deal with,” an insider told the New York Post. In addition to not winning any awards, West has complained that MTV refused to let him perform on stage, and gave Justin Timberlake a bigger hotel suite. West was due to appear at an MTV -sponsored voter awareness event with former U.S President Bill Clinton, but has now pulled out.

“Clinton sent him a letter asking him to participate, but he said he also wanted a personal phone call from the President,” the source added. MTV has confirmed that West is now not taking part in the event, and it has asked Alicia Keys instead. “Saying MTV does not wish to work with him would be inaccurate,” an MTV spokesman said. “He has been the one who has been vocal about saying he will never work with us again.”

To New York Knicks coach Isiah Thomas, hearing a white man refer to a black woman using a certain vulgar term would be "highly offensive. But he said he wouldn't be so offended if he heard a black man use the same term to refer to a black woman.

"I do make a distinction," Thomas said in a videotaped deposition played for a jury Monday in his sexual harassment trial.

...Asked if he was bothered by a black man calling a black female “bitch,” Thomas said: “Not as much. I’m sorry to say, I do make a distinction.”

“A white male calling a black female a bitch is highly offensive,” Thomas said. “That would have violated my code of conduct.”

“Maybe I shouldn’t go there. … A white male calling a black female (LOLOLOL -- RichBoi88), that is wrong with me. I’m not taking that. I’m not accepting that … That’s a problem for me.”

Elephant Man And Diddy Get DOWWNNNNNNNNN

Word is that Elephant Man (who's currently signed to Bad Boy Entertainment) got into it with Diddy at the Bad Boy office in NYC. Apparently the cause of the scuffle was money-related (duh).

Elephant Man is said to have bumrushed into the building unannounced and made his way to Diddy's office. Those present said they heard things breaking and Elephant Man was kicked out shortly thereafter.

At this point, Diddy has jipped quite a number of people out their guap. I would watch my back if I were him.
